About the Speaker
Zoltán Botta-Dukát
Zoltán Botta-Dukát is a senior scientist and group leader of the “Large-scale Vegetation Ecology Research Group” at the MTA Centre for Ecological Research, Vácrátót, Hungary. His research is focused on trait-based assembly rules, biological invasions, phytosociology, and the development of methods for data analysis (functional diversity, fidelity, co-occurrence based niche-width, validation of classification, semi-supervised classification).
Workshop in Trait-based Ecology
The workshop will cover the theoretical basis of trait-based ecology, as well as practical examples based on real ecological data. The practical part will focus on approaches for trait-based functional diversity measures.
Topics for personal discussion
